SRDC INDIA’s new Gems Junior program is not just for kids – parents and educators will want to use it
An unheard of price for a complete program in gemology, making the study affordable to a far wider market than previously dreamed geared toward 9-14-year-old students, is a great way for adults and children to explore the world of gems and jewelry all together in 1 course. The learning experience can take place wherever it is most comfortable and convenient.
The “Gem Explorer” section highlights 9 popular gems – such as diamond, ruby and pearl – The Gemologist Apprentice program is an entry level education program that includes a set of basic identification tools for kids that they get to keep. It covers all aspects of introductory gemology including how gemstones form in the various types of rock a look at the 7 crystal systems, a review of 20 gemstones and how to do basic gem identification, and finally it covers careers in gemology that are open to aspiring gemologist apprentices.
