When I was in the military, my nickname was the “why guy”. No matter what I was asked to do, I would look inquisitively and ask “why?”. I always wanted to understand the larger goal, because I wanted to find a better solution.
I still haven’t changed. I still ask why, but now I have a set of tools to better understand why.
