BENEFITS OF HAVING A
FACEBOOK BUSINESS
PAGE
11. INTRODUCE YOURSELF:
“Hello Sir/Madam,
I hope you are doing well. I live in this locality and I have heard a lot about your
products. I would surely love to try them once. Actually, some days back, I was
recommending your products to a friend but sadly we could not find your
Facebook Page, so she had to order from elsewhere.
Currently, I am part of the Facebook field team and we are running a free of
cost campaign #5HappyDaysWithFacebook for all the SMEs across India to
provide them with recognition and visibility. For the same, with your help, we
would be creating your Facebook Page which would have a description of the
kind of work you do and all the images of the products that are being made.”

MEET THE IDENTIFIED BUSINESS
OWNERS
12. Audience and Reach - Facebook gives you the opportunity to present your
products and services to a large, diverse audience that ranges in age, income,
geographical location, hobbies and interests. As of August 2014, businesses
with Facebook pages have access to the social networks audience of more than
1500 million active users. This type of access gives you the potential for greater
visibility and a chance to capture a larger share of your market.
Inexpensive - It's free for business owners to sign up for Facebook pages for
their businesses. Business owners can add using Facebook to their marketing
strategies and tactics without worrying about exceeding their advertising
budgets.
Targeted Online Advertising - Signing up for a Facebook account and sharing
information about your products and services is free, but Facebook also offers
business owners the opportunity to run advertisements to the social network's
users. You can set up a targeted advertising campaign that runs to users based
on factors such as their marital status, gender, geographical locations and
interests. You also can set a daily budget to ensure that your advertising
campaign is cost-efficient for your business.
BENEFITS OF OWNING A
FACEBOOK BUSINESS PAGE
13. Share and Get Feedback - Facebook lets consumers "like" the businesses who
offer products and services they enjoy. Once a consumer "likes" your page, he
has access to the content you post, such as special sales announcements,
product launch events, tips and ideas and videos. Consumers can also post their
feedback on each item you share. With Facebook, you get the opportunity to
instantly communicate with your customers.
Product Tab and Sales - If your business offers products, you can set up a
"Product" tab, which allows customers to make purchases directly from your
Facebook business page. Since consumers are increasingly using social
networks such as Facebook at work, home and when they're traveling, Facebook
makes your products easily accessible.
Consumer Share Posts - Facebook gives businesses another vehicle for word-
of-mouth marketing. When you post a new product, provide a tip or introduce a
new service, your Facebook fans can share your messages to their networks,
which can increase your visibility.
