Introduction to Assertiveness:
Assertiveness is one of the most important skills you can learn today. It can be used in almost
any situation at work as well as in your home and social life. Assertiveness changes the way you
communicate, changes the way you deal with conflict, and changes your own relationship with
yourself. It is the gateway to confidence, respect, and self-esteem. As you will learn in this
training, assertiveness is something you are born with and naturally good at. Only the
intervention of others with your best interests at heart robs you of assertiveness and teaches
you unsatisfactory substitutes, such as submission and aggression. But assertiveness is always
waiting for you to re-discover its magic. If you are someone who feels they have lost their way
in their relations with others, this training will show you how to claim back your assertiveness.

Objective: At the end of the course, participants will know and apply the techniques of
Emotional Intelligence for effectiveness and efficiency at work.


Introduction:

Emotional intelligence is the ability to be aware of your emotions and the emotions of others
and then to use that knowledge to help manage the expression of emotions so that they foster
success instead of cause roadblocks. Those who have high levels of emotional intelligence, or EI
for short, are able to understand the physical, mental, and social impact that negative emotions
have on their bodies, minds, relationships, and ability to pursue and achieve goals. They then
are able to moderate their own emotions so that their emotions support their activities and
enhance their quality of life. This training will make teacher to overcome the kinds of emotional
obstacles that tend to stop them. They can understand why others feel the way that they feel
and why they are doing what they are doing, and use that knowledge to help others perform at
their best. They can resolve conflict quickly and recover from setbacks with aplomb. They will
be good in handling crisis, strong at communicating and successful where others fail.

Those who have high levels of emotional intelligence, or EI for short, are able to understand the physical, mental, and social impact that negative emotions have on their bodies, minds, relationships, and ability to pursue and achieve goals.
