Youth Olympic Games "Lillehammer 2016" at
the Panathenaiko Stadium of Athens
3. The 5th grade visited Panathenaiko Stadium to watch the
lighting of the Olympic Flame
The weather is beautiful, the sun
is shining and the sky is
cloudless.
We entertain our visit and we
feel awe and excitement that in
our country were born Olympics
Games.
4. This is the Panathenaiko Stadium in Athens.
Here became the first modern Olympics in
1896
5. Now we will give some information about the
Olympic Games.
6. The symbol of the Olympic Games is the five colorful circles
The blue circle symbolizes Europe,the yellow Asia,the black Africa,the
green Oceania and the red America.
The colors of the circles with the white that is the background of the
flag, represent all states of the world, since at least one of the colors
of the flag contained in the flag of every country in the world. Also
the 5 cycles, are united among themselves and this symbolizes
friendship and peace between the peoples of the earth.

follows the torch relay with the holy light.

are: peace, friendship, brotherhood of peoples, fair play, moderation,
openness, understanding, love, cooperation, the noble competition, the
continuous and sincere effort, perseverance, persistence, targeting,
participation rather than inaction, acceptance, humility the very
opposite of arrogance in victory, the dignified acceptance of defeat
and the use of the self-improvement.
