2. Total Recipe Amounts:
1/2 teaspoon Borax
2 tablespoons Distilled Water
3 tablespoons Corn Starch
3 tablespoons White School Glue
Step 1: In one of the mixing bowls, mix 2 tablespoons of distilled water and 1/2 teaspoon of
Borax. Stir until the borax has dissolved.
Step 2: Now, add ½ teaspoon of this mixture to the three other bowls. Note: you may have a small
amount of leftover borax mixture. You no longer need this for this recipe.
Step 3: Next, add the color to each bowl.
Bowl 1: 5 drops of Tropical Soda Pop Fragrance Oil and 15 drops Fun Soap Colorant Neon Pink
Bowl 2: 5 drops of Tropical Soda Pop Fragrance Oil and 15 drops Fun Soap Colorant Neon Blue
Bowl 3: 5 drops of Tropical Soda Pop Fragrance Oil and 15 drops Fun Soap Colorant Neon Orange
Step 4: Add 1 tablespoon of school glue and 1 tablespoon of Corn Starch to each of the 3 bowls.
Step 5: Now mix the contents of each of these bowls until it thickens and it become too difficult to
mix. Note: Use a different spoon for each color so you do not mix the colors.
Step 6: Remove the mixtures from each bowl and place them on a piece of wax paper.
Step 7: Begin, one color at a time, rolling the putty between your palms. As you roll it will begin to
take form.
Step 8: Finally, place all 3 colors together and roll between your palms to incorporate. Your putty is
now ready to use! To store the putty, place into a 4 oz. PET jar with lid.
We hope you and your kids love our scented putty recipe! Enjoy!
