In a week, Bauer’s Media Group sells 38 million magazines a week. 2. www.kerrang.com www.qthemusic.com Bauer Media Group would publish Stereo magazine as they publish similar titles within their publishing house, which include Kerrang and Q which are similar to Stereo magazine in terms of the genre of music. Kerrang and Q have weekly sales of around 70,000 a week, so this shows that the magazines already in their publishing house are successful. It shows that the company reach out to my target audience, so it would benefit my magazine to be published by Bauer as they would give Stereo magazine the exposure it needs to become successful.

Advertising Fender guitar would be suitable to advertise in Stereo magazine because most people reading the magazine will be music lovers who may play an instrument already, or may want to learn an instrument. iPhone4 would be suitable to advertise in Stereo magazine because the magazine is aimed at males and females and theiPhoneis popular in most youngpeople which is the target audience, so it would be an appropriate product to advertise. Gig dates would be suitable to advertise in the magazine as it provides the audience with official confirmation of dates for particular gigs. The gig adverts will also attract attention to people who may not know about the tour, such as Lostprophets and The Blackout. New album’s, suitable to the magazine, will be advertised as people who are reading the magazine are interested in music and are more likely to benefit from album adverts as they may not have heard about the release, for example Paramore and You Me At Six.

5. With gifts, such as free music downloads, it will be easier to distribute the gift as a download link can be featured and the gift is accessible straight away.
6. Videos can be featured to make the online magazine more interesting and can include behind the scenes footage, which may not have been easily accessible on a normal magazine as the person would have to find the website and video specifically.
7. As the target audience is aimed at young people and teenagers, then an online magazine would be suitable because most teenagers are online frequently so it would be easier for them to access it online.
8. If the reader misses an issue then they can easily access it online, whereas in a shop new issues replace the older ones, so they would miss an issue entirely.
