Stretching is necessary to improve range of motion
Stretching releases synovial fluid stored in the joints. This fluid lubricates all the joints, protecting them from friction and injury.
Stretching brings blood supply to the soft tissues. When stretching, you allow more oxygen to reach the muscles, which in turn promotes stronger ligaments as well.Photo Credit: Flicker.com
