2. Technologies: My stop motion project was an opportunity to become more experienced in using technology to create a media piece. I used a camera and a tri-pod to capture my images. The use of a tri-pod would enable me to keep the camera steady whilst moving the foreground pictures to give the scene a more professional feel as apposed to changing the camera angle with every stop motion. I embedded the pictures onto my computer using a USB cable. Once the slideshow was complete, I uploaded it onto the popular site 'Slideshare‘ and then onto my gmail account to then let me upload it onto my blogger I used popular sites such as YouTube to study typical conventions of a soap...

3. Creativity One of the main aspects in the making my narrative that I found particularly difficult was trying to fit the back ground (Rovers Return image) into the camera lens. However, with careful precision I was finally able to capture the quality I wanted. Another struggle I encountered was getting the lighting for my piece to a satisfactory standard. Due to the fact I was shooting the piece by a window, it was a challenge to guarantee all the slides were of the same light. I therefore moved the piece to a darker side of the room to make sure it was consistent and did not look brighter/darker in different slides. I used card, glue and scissors to make the background/characters in the stop motion project. This was a hands-on physical approach to completing the project and allowed to me be creative by making new forms of media.

4. Overall... I think my stop motion project, on the whole, was a success. There were although some time saving aspects of my work I would change if I were to repeat this kind of project again, particularly the lighting of my piece. I still regret the amount of time wasted trying to get a consistent tone and brightness rather than relying on daylight for a substantial amount of the creative process.
