1) This document outlines the objectives and processes of an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) module being implemented at USCE. The EAM will integrate maintenance with other departments like inventory, purchasing, and finance.
2) Key aspects of the EAM include managing all maintenance through work orders, tracking costs for cost control, improving preventive maintenance scheduling, and generating reports for decision making.
3) The work order process begins with a work request that is turned into a work order by a team leader who then assigns materials, resources, and tracks completion. Team leaders and store managers are involved in different stages of the work order and fabrication order processes.
