We created a background for a news report in Photoshop and applied the Chroma Key effect to a film clip to select the green backdrop, replacing it with an imported background image so that the news report appears in the background and the reporter is in the foreground.

1. We first created the background for the news report on Photoshop

2. We selected the Chroma Key effect and dragged it onto the film clip. Using effect controls, we changed the selection colour to green which picked up on the green backdrop we used.

3. We had then imported the background and dragged it on to the chrome key. So that the news report is at the background and the news reporter in the foreground.
