2. The Green Masters Program recognizes and supports business leaders in Wisconsin.
Sustainability is about competitive advantage, innovation, continuous improvement,
employee engagement, and resource and energy efficiency.
Wisconsin’s Green Masters Program is a free,
independent, objective, points-based sustainability
recognition program. It is open to all Wisconsin
businesses seeking credentials in “sustainability” so as
to attract customers, employees and investors. In order
to participate, a business must have taken an action in
each of the nine areas of sustainability: water, waste,
energy, climate change, transportation, supply
chain, governance, workforce, and community.
“The Green Masters Program helps my business meet our continuous improvement goals.” - Lisa Geason-Bauer
President, Evolution Marketing, LLC
Faced with extraordinary challenges, Wisconsin
businesses are responding by becoming more efficient,
innovative and successful. The Green Masters Program
recognizes those businesses whose business success
is linked to improvements in employee engagement,
environmental performance and community
involvement. In other words, the Green Masters
Program recognizes models of business sustainability.
3. “I have filled out numerous supplier and retail
sustainability surveys, and I will say that the Green
Master’s questions are fair, comprehensive, and
give participating companies a good barometer
on the health of their organization.”
