development program designed to develop and enhance girls’
social, psychological, and physical competencies to successfully
navigate life experiences.
Over the course of the program girls will:
Develop and improve competence

Create positive connections with peers and adults
Make a meaningful contribution to community and

Girls  on  the  Run  5k   Spring  2016  5k May  15th Wissahickon  High  School   9:30am  start The Girls on the Run 5k is the culminating event for our program participants, families and community members. Completing a 5k gives the girls a tangible sense of achievement, as well as a framework for setting and achieving life goals. The results are the same — making the seemingly impossible, possible.
