3. URBANISTICA IIII
analysing the Sarria avenue and its context then drawing 3 proposals of public space’s design on caractericical zooms
group project done with 2 architecture’s students from ETSAB Barcelona
4.
5.
6. Working in groups of 8 from differents scho-
ols. We decided to focus on the potential of
transformation of this area. Maping the blank
spaces and industrial areas non-used we drew
a kind of negative image of the city.

7. Then we made a time-
lapse of the posssible
changes and potential of
public space’s network.
The third part consisted
in finding some balance
in economical, social and
environmental issues by
local proposals

We have been asked to work on a large scale about
the territory’s attractivity for tourism. The aim was to
make a list of the remarquable sites and to propose
some hiking and biking itineraries.
We first analysed the image spread by the municipali-
ties wich did not seem to fit with the various reality of
Avignon’s landscapes.

12. analysis : understanding the logics of urbanisations
Which bases of landscape for a logical building? (groundwater, floods, higher lands,
ground fertility, bedrock, commercial areas ...)
13. Proposals of urban planning on zooms where the underlying
logics are not readable anymore.
Opening circulations and views on the commercial areas.
14. Arles, a city built by the river?
The city of Arles in the south
of France is situated where the
Rhône river get separated, it is
the beginning of the Camargue’s
delta.
The city has grown filling blank
spaces as the river’s filling lawer
areas when flooding. Also I com-
pare the urban phaenomenon
with the river’s sedimentation as-
sociating the infrastructures with
the traces of the city’s sedimen-
tation.
