This presentation was submitted to and presented at the 2016 "Building Vibrant Rural Futures" (CCRF) Conference in Guelph, ON. This presentation walks participants through the experience and identifies the key developments in the community-led process that resulted in the establishment of priorities and rural, place-based solutions. Key themes explored include organizational change management, the concepts of community readiness, the importance of social network development - "front-end loading" and the importance of co-creation in people-centred services.
