2. In my opinion, I think that my kpop magazine could be improved so that it
would look more like a music magazine because the layout design would need to
be bright enough to encourage my audience to read my magazine. Such as, by
including a few more photos, information and organising each part of the
magazine properly. The importance of making these improvements is that there
will be a chance that there will be an increase in the number of people that
would be reading my kpop magazine. Moreover, there will be more of a chance
that by improving my kpop magazine there will be an increase the number of
people that will find my magazine interesting to read.
The conventions that I used within my kpop magazine is my layout design,
photos and I used different fonts and colours that helped to conform to is
expected to be included within a kpop music magazine. Such as, there was a lot
of bold fonts and vibrant colours that I used within my front cover, contents
page and double page spread. The effectiveness of this is that it is clear for the
see the information that I have included within my magazine through the layout
design and it also grasps the attention of the audience. The way in which the
conventions clearly fits into the kpop is shown through the photos that portrays
the different styles that are shown within the genre. Referring to, mise en scene
mainly the clothing and makeup that the models has on emphasises what are the
different sub- genres that are within the kpop music.

3. Masthead:
Referring to, my magazine the masthead is
overlapping my focal image whereas, the focal image
is overlapping the masthead on the other front cover.
The effectiveness of putting the focal image over the
masthead is so that the audience will know what is
the main artist that is going to be spoken about.
Sell lines:
The differences between the ‘Ceci’ magazine and my
magazine is that I haven’t written a mini description
about what each of the sell line is about. By including a
mini description for the sell lines is that it would give
the audience a brief idea of what each sell line is
about.
Websites:
Similarly, both my magazine and the ‘Ceci’ magazine
has a website that the audience can access to get
through to the subscriptions. The effectiveness of
there being subscriptions available to instantly
purchase each of the magazines that are distributed.

4. Credits:
Referring to, my contents page
and this contents page there
isn’t any credits within my
contents page. The importance
of there being some credits
stated on the contents page is
that the people who are involved
in making the magazine to be
acknowledged.

In comparison to, between these two contents
pages it indicates that within my magazine I have
also included a mini description below each title
to inform the audience what each of the articles
focuses on.

5. Focal image:
According to, my double page spread
and this double page spread that there
are lots of images that is used.
Whereas, as shown on the double page
spread that I have created there is one
focal image that I’ve used. It’s effective
to use one or more images because it
indicates what each piece of
information is about.
Title:
Within this double page spread there
has been one type of font that has been
used. Whereas, I used 3 different types
of fonts to attract my audience. This
conveys that through the used of fonts it
increases the chances of the audience
reading the article.
Sub- headings:
The differences is that I didn’t use sub-
headings within my double page spread
because I was mainly focusing on discussing
on how kpop has become popular. But, the
other double page spread has a different
purpose which is to give information on the
different kpop artists.
