This document presents research on gender differences in movie genre preferences. It lists various movie genres and shows that males generally prefer mysteries, action, sci-fi and war movies, while females generally prefer musicals, romances, dramas, family films and animated movies. The research finds that when the genres are switched, males indicate a preference for female-oriented genres like musicals and romances, while females prefer traditionally male genres like mysteries and action movies.
