Editor's Notes
CPXi is a digital media company that provides technology, services and processes that make digital advertising more efficient and effective. Over the past 15 years that the company has been around, it has grown and evolved to service the ever changing digital media capabilities. AdReady is a division that houses our brand agency and performance clients and Affiture is our affiliate network. AdReady and Affiture tend to overlap in the area of performance driven marketing and so we were looking for a platform that could manage both sides of the business.
We previously worked with a vendor that did not provide the exceptional level of support, the customizable solutions, or the real-time analytics that we now have with HitPath
Today I am going to walk you through the various ways that CPXi leverages the HitPath platform to make our business more successful by better serving our clients.
Transitioning all of our account information to HitPath from our previous vendor was seamless
The HitPath team provides 1 on 1 training for all of our new hires, which saves us time and resources and allows new hires to get up to speed quickly
24/7 Customer Service available via email, phone, chat, etc.
In the past you would need to pull an individual pixel for each campaign and pass to the advertiser. This caused tracking issues and inefficiencies.
For example, an advertiser would give us 20 campaigns and request a individual pixel for each campaign because that’s what they were used to. Originally we were doing this and it led to issues (they might place 5 pixels correctly and mess up code for others). Used to send them 20 pixels and they would place the wrong pixel on the campaign.
With global advertiser pixels, we place the same pixel on each campaign and HitPath can tell on the backend which campaign it’s associated with.
Now each advertiser has their own pixel which is the same for each of their campaigns
Better tracking and fewer inefficiencies/back-and-forth’s between our team and the advertiser
Traditionally when you export a report from the HitPath platform, the user agent string was not parsed – it was a long string of information that was hard to read and optimize
The HitPath team updated this functionality for us so that device, OS, browser, etc. are segmented into columns
We can now build pivot tables making it easier to optimize campaigns and buys for cross-device campaigns
Traditionally, we could only edit campaigns from the Maintenance tab of the platform
The HitPath team updated the platform functionality so that we can edit campaigns directly from the Reporting interface
Saves 15 mins per day. 14 people use it. Using it since November
Our previous platform vendor had a 4-hour reporting delay, and in our fast-paced jobs, we can’t afford to wait this long
HitPath reports automatically update in real-time, and can be accessed from both desktop and the mobile stats app
Able to make decisions on the fly for buying and optimization
