Francesca and Annette were meant to portray two Essex girls meeting in a cafe, but their idea evolved during production. Their group split roles successfully, with one directing, one operating the camera, and two acting. Francesca also took on editing. The production paperwork like storyboards, schedules and treatments helped guide them, though the storyboard needed more clarity. During filming, they had to change some ideas, and Francesca would film additional angles and takes if they repeated it to improve the technical skills of camera placement and editing.
