Visit to the Archaeological Museum in Thessaloniki. A walking tour
of most essential landmarks (White Tower, The Rotunda, St. Demetrius’
Church St. Sophia’s Church, Arch of Galerius)

Visit to Alistrati Cave: Biospeology, Paleontology, Habitat,
Ecological zones
Activities related to the aforementioned thematic areas.
A tour of important sites the Municipality of Emmanouil
Pappas (this is where the school is located & the Mayor has kindly
offered to provide the tour, there might be some changes though)
THURSDAY 16.2.2017
Visit to Lake Kerkini national Park & one of the most important
wetlands in Europe. Activities include bird watching, horse riding in beautiful
landscape, cycling, canoeing & hiking in the footpaths of the areas mountain
range.
FRIDAY 17.2.2017
Morning Teachers: starting activities ’Taking care of the environment’ also introduce the
task to take part in the Earth Hour annually

“Treasure Hunt” in Serres, concerning important sites
