Charles Chaplin directed and starred in the 1936 film "Modern Times". The film takes place during the industrial revolution and depicts Chaplin's character struggling to survive working in a factory with rigid division of labor. Chaplin's character is overwhelmed by the fast pace of the factory assembly line. While the film highlights the challenges of working during the industrial revolution, modern production allows for greater output with fewer errors. Overall the reviewer enjoyed the film but would have preferred dialogue to provide more context.

3. 1. Inside the History of Industry, when do you think the action of the film
happens?
When the industrial revolution started, as we could see how factories change
people by machines.
2. How is the factory organise? What elements of the industrial process can you
see?
The factory divide the process of the creation of the product, I mean, each person
do something different, such as cut, stick, clean or assemble.
3. Describe the work in the factory? Is there division of labour?
Yes, at the begining each person did one thing to create the final product.
4. What differences can you notice between working during these times and
working today?
Now there’s a lot of production, and normally there are not mistakes in the
product. You can get whatever when you want and in high cuantities.

It was great, but I prefer to hear dialogues, this way we can take more information
from the film.
