1. Information Management – ATO Mobile Experience
The first roll out of mobile tablet devices occurred back in July 2014, with the SES having first access to the devices, with the progressive EL rollout occurring
from November 2014, however the experience between the two groups has not been the same. The SES have had more freedom to use the standard or native
Apple applications of the device under certain circumstances which the EL group has not, leading to a negative and frustrating user experience. This new
Mobile Device User Experience aims to align the experience of both user groups to allow more flexibility and engagement with the device.
User access their
mobile device by either

• All emails sent via the native application are automatically classified as FOR
OFFICIAL USE ONLY. This means most emails may be overclassified, but this
can be overridden with the use of hashtag classifications (#UC, #UN etc)
• Automatic classification may result in users getting ‘out of the
habit’ of correctly classifying emails
