with how they are, and always strive and
wish to be like others; the cat wishes to

However, the flower is mentioned at the
beginning wishing to be a tree, and also at
the end as an offering of love.

appreciates the beautiful flower, even
though the flower is unhappy and wants
to be different. As it’s a very
upbeat, happy song, the overall meaning
would likely be the positive side of the
idea, and therefore means to be happy
with the way you are, and to make the
most of what you’ve got.
13. I chose this song because I like the
childlike happiness in it, and I think the
lyrics are interesting and amusing. The
song meaning is very positive and it’s
quite fast paced, making it fun to listen to
whilst still having a real, important ‘moral
story’. I also think it will make an
enjoyable music video.
14. In order to make the music video suit the
song lyrics, we should include cheerful
scenes in the narrative section, showing
children playing and enjoying themselves.
There is a big theme of nature in the
lyrics, and so the majority of the
narrative, and perhaps the
performance, should be shot
outdoors, showing lots of colourful
flowers, trees, and the beauty of the
environment.
15. It would suit the music to have a video of
clips showing ‘memories’ of
happiness, showing that we can be happy
with our talents, image, and
personality, and can be appreciated by
others as we are, without having to
change.
