24. Program Methodology Join the program by submitting the application form with necessary fee and required documents. Receive STW Kit including Study Material, CD(s) and Assignments at your postal address. Self study through STW Kit. Participate in web portal activities on www.nstc.in and receive internet based support. Submit assignments/paper for Award of Certification. Receive a joint certification from "Nano Science and Technology Consortium & SkillZip" after submission of paper. Receive on going support from "Nano Science and Technology Consortium & SkillZip".
25. Award of Certificate Candidate is awarded with a program completion certificate after satisfactory submission and the clearance of the assignments . The time period required to complete the certification is six months. Candidates are instructed to complete and ensure the submission of the compulsory assignments to the NSTC within the stipulated time period. Failing to submit and get clearance on the compulsory assignments, on or before the program conclusion date, requires a re-registration in the same program. This facilitates an extension of three months (maximum) period for the submission of requisite assignments.
26. Application Procedure The candidates would be required to qualify a written SkillZip Entrance Test (SET) which would be of 2 hours duration. This would be intended to test the aptitude of the applicant. The test would be based on General Knowledge, English & Communication, Mathematical Calculations, General Reasoning etc. The next phase of selection consists of Discussion followed by a Personal Interview (of 30 minutes duration each) which are aimed at assessing your confidence, leadership qualities, analytical bent of mind and communication skills.
