examples shown from
Khan academy.
O Students put into pairs
and given laminated
wipe boards with two
long chain multiplication
questions to do.

explain their method to
the other student.

O Previous problems teaching long chain multiplication. Lack of interest/negativity. Previous bad experiences in school.
