1. I’m Glad to have been nominated for this election, it shows me there are still some in this faction who remember the old times, the old ways, and still appreciate them. Look back at them with a sense of longing, see appreciation for the Brothers who carried the torch and worked for their faction instead of the disdain for the “Oldies, and “Has-Beens” that’s present in the current high command. You see the Brotherhood isn’t something that’s just steeped in the present, there’s a legacy, and a history behind it, one that most councils up until now have strived to carry on. <br />And that legacy is what if elected, I will work to restore. I’m not gonna bullshit you, It won’t be easy to work our way back up to how things were, but if people are willing to put out the effort and return to the core things that made us the Brotherhood of Shadows. We can build something that’s maybe even greater than the past was, return to how things were under Baines and Gary, the first time around when you couldn’t say you had beef during war time in faction chat without nearly everybody online showing up to have your back. <br />When EVERYBODY from Trainees to Masters strived to represent the code to the greatest extent possible, when people didn’t run out ganking nublets, and shittalking corpses simply because those were violations of the code. When there was truly a difference between being a brother, and just some guy in red and, if you were the former then you knew there were other brothers that had your back. I’ll work to return things to the time, when the other factions respected us even if they couldn’t always agree with us, or appreciate the decisions we made. <br />The time when, if we made Political Maneuvers, or hijacked a colony, it was for a Reason. Whether, that was when somebody had dropped enough shit on our plates that we’d had enough, or we saw a move that could prove to the benefit of the entire faction but, we always picked fights we could win. They might have been TOUGH Wins, where we had to dig in our heels, and rock out 3-1, but they were still wins, Ones that felt earned, and worthwhile. We’ll work to restore things to a time when everybody with common sense got money, and ate well not just a few people who lived behind production terminals and supplied the markets, a time when we weren’t known as grubby greedy bastards who charged outlandish prices. (Which, to be honest will cost you more money than you’ll make. Lower Prices=More Customers=More Product Moved=More Money.)<br />Now, I’m going to be honest though, like I said it won’t be easy, and it’s something that no matter how good of a council we may have they won’t be able to do on their own. It’ll take an effort from everybody to respect the code, carry themselves with Honor, and remember that their ACTIONS represent the brotherhood. From Initiates to handle business, lead their brothers in battle and peace both by words and EXAMPLE, settle internal disputes within the ranks, and deal with complaints from other factions. From Adepts to organize and manage departments, Lead in every definition of the word, conduct factional relations, and keep the masters of the council informed of their departmental affairs. From Masters to responsibly lead the faction, keep the departments equipped with whatever they need to do their jobs, ensure we’re respected across the star map, and Actively strive to satisfy the needs of the brotherhoods.<br />We’ll go back to the times where, the ranks where a badge of honor, not just a privilege, but a responsibility. We’re going to do this by resetting the ranks ala when Gary and Baines took over; everybody’s getting demoted back down to Rebel and will be judged from this point on. Those deemed worthy of leading their brothers will then be promoted from there. <br />Keep in mind though from the point I’m elected on, you’ll be judged based on your actions for future responsibility, so if you choose to carry about like a retard don’t expect to go far. If you do show you’re dependable, capable, got a good head on your shoulders, and have genuine leadership capability then you can expect to go far, maybe even all the way to the top. Though rank promotions won’t be as swift as some of the ascensions we’ve seen recently. <br />So, to sum everything up, we can rebuild this faction to a respectful state, and that’s what if elected I plan to do, but like I said you can’t just vote for me and step off. Everybody’ll need to do their part to restore our brotherhood to the true glory of the shadows.<br />
