Very relevant indeed from the reasons in the following verses of the scripture 1. You will be persecuted if you live a godly life-2 Tim 3:12 2. Through many hardship and tribulation that we must enter into His rest- Act 14:22 3. A quick look at persecution through the eyes of faith reveals the joy that awaits the faithful in Christ. Focus not on the campaign to subjugate or eliminate you but look for the possibilities in the word concerning you. With Christ it is never hopeless, remember you are what God says you are and you have what God says you have because you are a peculiar person, sanctified, separated and put apart for his use.
