7. 1. Does your keratin have formaldehyde (formalin) or botox?
• No – Formalin and botoxes are very effective in straightening hair but they
have been proven to carcinogenic (cause cancer)
2. Can hair be styled after keratin treatment
• Yes – All styling is safe with the exception of curling that may require the use
of rollers and a drier that should wait for 2 weeks
3. Can hair dyes be used with keratin?
• Yes – unlike with relaxers where you cannot use certain hair dyes, keratin is
safe for use with all colour dyes
4. Previous Keratin treatments did not work on African hair and were for only
