Brief History
CROM Tech. Services Corp. was started in 2010 byProfessional EngineerCarlos A. Roman.
With over eight years of experience in the engineering discipline, working as a contractor in the major
manufacturing facilities in Puerto Rico, Carlos identified a niche inwherehe wasestablishedas a leader
and that provides thesufficient opportunities to build up his ownbusiness.From thatmoment on he
started tocollect information and become prepared from his launch as anindependent contractorinthe
summerof 2010.
Since its conception as a validation consultant provider, CROM has expandedits services to providea
wider catalog of offerings including engineeringdocumentationandprojectmanagement services to
pharmaceutical, chemical andmedical device corporationsin Puerto Rico.
Company Ownership
Carlos A. Roman has formed CROM Tech. Services Corp. as a sole proprietorship. It was incorporated as
a profit organization at the Puerto Rico State Department in June 2010.

This company unit is focused in providing validation, engineering documentation and project
management services.
Validation in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is defined as the documented act of
demonstrating that a procedure, process, and activity will consistently lead to the expected results. It
often includes the qualification of systems and equipment. It is essential for Good Manufacturing
Practices and regulatory requirements. Engineering documentation is a fundamental part of Validation
and includes, among a wide variety of documents, the calibration records, preventive maintenance
records and procedures. Project Managementis the discipline of planning, organizing, securing and
managingresources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives.

Target Market
Validation, Engineering and Project Management Services not only are requirements to at least every
pharmaceutical and medical device company, its indispensable for its every day operation.
For almost 40 years, Puerto Rico has been a home to a majority of the major pharmaceutical and
medical device manufacturers. In fact, over 100 companies have facilities on the island. Some of these
companies have been going through corporate downsizing as a means for decreasing overhead/ the
burn rate. While this does assist reducing monthly expenditures, often the company realizes that were
certain necessary services being provided by the personnel that were let go. CROM assistants are
particularly useful because the companies only pay for the services rendered without continual
employment or equipment overhead.
Although any of these companies provide a business opportunity, CROM have identified a market
nicheto start up and grow as a business. This only market is comprised of a pharmaceutical plant, a
chemical plant, a biotechnology plant and a medical device plant located in the north side of the island
which has created a bond with our personnel through previous job experience. In fact, the market in
mention invests millions of dollars in the type of services offered in its every day operations and special
project.
