1. Get start with Microsoft Azure

Click on the free trial
2. Sign up
Click on Sign up to create your new account in Microsoft Azure
Enter the Email Address and password to create new account
6. Click on Create Account
3. Verify your E-mail
This will send the verification mail to your Email Id
Open your Mail and verify the link that will drag you to the Microsoft Azure.
4. Fill in your Personal details
Once you verify your account it will ask you to enter your personal details.
Enter the correct information with your debit/credit card details.
7. Click on Sign up to move to the next step

Your account has been created
Now you can start managing the services

It will take about 3o seconds to get started

You can use this portal to quickly set up new services, resources, and components with minimal initial
configuration.

It gives you immediate control of your services, resources, and components.

You have successfully entered in to the Microsoft Azure Portal.
11. Create virtual machines
Now create the virtual machine. Simply click on the Virtual machine tab which is on the left
side on the screen.
Click on create the virtual machine.
1. Microsoft azure provides multiple options of the image of the server operating systems like
Ubuntu, Red hat, windows.

We have selected Windows server 2016 Technical preview 3 version
3. Virtual machine configuration
14. Click on Connect so that It will give u the rdf file of the virtual machine.
Run the rdf file and follow the steps.
4. Enter your credentials to log in to the RDP session

6. Then you can see the Virtual server windows 2016 preview version which we have
configured with the Microsoft Azure.
It will come with the all configuration that you have slected while create the virtual machine.
16. Storage as a Service
1. Create Virtual Storage
We can create virtual storage in Microsoft Azure

Click on create storage account.
3. That process will make storage for you.
19. 6. After creating the container you will get the Storage space created for you.
Platform as a Service
1. Create new web application

3. Click on the link which who have create to make web application. It will open the new web
page like shown in the below screenshot.
21. 4. Click on tell me more and it will come up with the screen having different options on the
menu bar like Products, Documentation, Pricing, Blog, Resources, support etc.
5. Specifically in the Product menu, it will provide you various options which you will need to
crate the web application. Like in Data & Storage option they have different database engines
that you can use to maintain data in the backend. As well as you can select Platform on which
u want to create a web application which is in Developer service option.

You can check your billing and cost information of your running services.

services):
1. Create Amazon Free Account:
Click on a Create free Account which will allow you to create free Amazon
Account and display below page. In this page below enter your details as
asked in the page below.
25. 2. Once you entered details like this click on sign in using our secure server
3. After clicking on that sign in using our secure server it will display following
page.
4. Click on create Account will display following page.
26. 5. After you click on create Account button it will display following page in
which you have to enter your credentials like Card number and card holder
name in to that to create free account.
6. Once u click on continue button it will display following page.
27. 7. Once you got the call and we have to enter the verification number during the
call and after it match we have to click on the button and it displays the
following page.
28. 8. Select basic free radio button and click on continue will display the console
page displayed below.
9. Once you come to this page we have to click on Sign in to the Console button
and will display following page. And there we have to select I am a returning
user radio button and enter password at the time when you register. Enter the
password and click on Sign in using our secure server button.
29. 10. After clicking on that button you will come to Amazon Services Home page
which contains the different cloud services that you can use.
30. Create Virtual server on Amazon:
1. Click on EC2 (Virtual servers in cloud) option which will allow you to create
virtual servers on cloud and it displays following page.
Now click on Launch Instance button which will display option of the servers
that can be installed like Ubuntu, Redhat, Fedora, Windows etc. and you can
choose among them according to requirement.
2. Choose an Amazon Machine Image(AMI):
31. Now from the given list we have selected Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Base
virtual server option we will configure it as an example to show how one can
configure a virtual server on AWS.
3. Choose an Instance Type:
Once we click on select button of windows server it will display the following page
which provides a wide selection of instance types optimized to fit different use cases.
Instances are virtual servers that can run applications. They have varying
combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking capacity, and give you the
flexibility to choose the appropriate mix of resources for your applications.
Now click on Next: Configure Instance Details button which displays the following
page.
When we point our cursor on that rounded “I” button besides the option it will display
the popup for each and every option which provides information about each option
and explains what exactly it is.
33. In this page we have to select the configuration details of the instance we want to
create like the first option specifies number of instance of virtual server we want to
create and here as we want to create one virtual server we entered “1” in first option.
And other option we have to keep it like the same as it comes by default and now
click on “Add Storage” button at bottom to go to next step.
5. Add Storage:
Your instance will be launched with the following storage device settings. You can
attach additional EBS volumes and instance store volumes to your instance, or edit the
settings of the root volume. You can also attach additional EBS volumes after
launching an instance, but not instance store volumes. Free tier eligible customers can
get up to 30 GB of EBS General Purpose (SSD-Solid State Drive) or Magnetic
storage.
After you select the storage space we have to select Tag Instance button.
6. Tag Instance:
A tag consists of a case-sensitive key-value pair. For example, you could define a tag
with key = Name and value = Webserver.
34. Now after you give key and server name we have to click on Configure Security
Group button.
7. Configure Security Group:
A security group is a set of firewall rules that control the traffic for your instance. On
this page, you can add rules to allow specific traffic to reach your instance. For
example, if you want to set up a web server and allow Internet traffic to reach your
instance, add rules that allow unrestricted access to the HTTP and HTTPS ports. You
can create a new security group or select from an existing one below.
35. 8. Review Instance Launch:
Now click on Review and Launch button will display following page.
This will give preview of the virtual server we created.
Now click on Launch button which will create a configured virtual server.
36. A key pair consists of a public key that AWS stores, and a private key file that you
store. Together, they allow you to connect to your instance securely. For Windows
AMIs, the private key file is required to obtain the password used to log into your
instance. For Linux AMIs, the private key file allows you to securely SSH into your
instance.
Note: The selected key pair will be added to the set of keys authorized for this
instance.
From the first combo box we have to select Create a new key pair option and it will
display another text box with textbox in which we have to give any key pair name.
And at last we have to click on “Download Key Pair” button which will download a
key pair for security and credentials.
37. And then click on “Launch Instance” button will display the following page.
Now click on “View instance” button will redirect you to following page.
38. How to connect to virtual server
1. Now click on “Connect” button on top of the page which displays following pop-
up dialog box.
2. From “Connect to your Instance” Dialog box we have to click on first option
“Download Remote Desktop file” button which will download “rdp” file.
39. Now click on “Get Password” button will display another dialog box.
By clicking on “choose key pair file” we have to choose the key pair file that we have
downloaded before.
And after that we will get the option “decrypt password” once we select the key pair
file. Now click on decrypt password will decrypt our key pair and we will get
following dialog box.
This dialog box will display public IP of our machine, User Name and decrypted
Password.
We have to save this password somewhere to use it later to connect through RDP to
virtual server.
40. 3. How to connect to a configured virtual server that we have created on Amazon
through RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) connection.
Now we have to click on or open the “rdp” file or remote desktop file that we
have downloaded before to connect to a virtual server that we have created
will display following dialog box.
41. Now click on connect button will display following dialog box in which we
have to enter the password that we have created at the time to connect.
Now click on “Ok” button will display following dialog box.
Now click on “YES” button create a new “virtual server”.
42. You can remote in to this server from any device around the world by simply
using “RDP” feature of any device by entering public IP of this virtual server.
43. Storage as a Service
Amazon easy Storage provider (Amazon S3), offers developers and IT organizations with

and enter basic user information. Once you click "Launch Work Spaces" Amazon will send
an email invitation with instructions on how to quickly complete your profile, download a
Work Space client, and log into your Work Space.
Select a bundle of compute, storage and applications for each of your users. You can install
your own applications on your Work Space once it has launched.
