1. • Fire Fighting - SEI Civil Aeronautics, is to save lives in case of aviation accidents or incidents that occurred
within the airport or its zone of influence, including in emergencies outside the airport that create risk to the air
operation or community, when the capacity of the equipment, personnel, training and service characteristics so
permit without prejudice as a priority service from the airport and its hinterland. To do this you must have the
technical and human resources necessary to avert, similarly, forward training and prevention actions to airport
staff on issues fire, first aid and evacuation.
• It is very difficult to explain each unit that integrates the Unidad Administrativa Especial de Aeronautica Civil Chart.
In the chart bellow I try to show the organization that has the Group to which I belong "Group Fire Fighting Service";
This group is part of the Direction of Air Navigation Services.
It should be clarified that each is responsible Regional various airports to provide all the necessary coverage, for
example Cundinamarca Regional , is responsible Guaymaral airport, to which I belong, Ibague, Flandes, Florencia,
Neiva, Leticia. Each airport has a station master and the positions of Firefighter, Machine Operator , Commander
Guard, and Officer Service depend on each station master.
