• The principality of
  Asturias is one of
  the seventeen
  autonomous
  communities in Spain.
  It has a wide variety
  of landscapes, which
  combine green and
  rugged mountains,
  white sand beaches,
  rocky beaches, and a
  vast extension of
  green and natural
  landscape.
HISTORY
• 1-Roman period (29-91
  BC) Roman bridge in
  Cangas de Onís
• 2-Resistance to
  Muslims.The battle of
  Covadonga,and Pelayo,
  the most important
  soldier.
• 3-Declaration of
  "principality of
  Asturias" 1388.
• 4-1934: the rebellion
  in the coal mines and
  the miners revolution
