MISSION/BACKGROUND
Shantani Proteome Analytics Pvt. Ltd. (Shantani) is a research based biotechnology
company and leader in the use of Advanced Chemical Proteomics Technology. We are
applying our innovative technologies to identify and validate new drug targets and create
path-forward solutions for life-sciences-based products. We offer applications of our
proprietary technologies as services to drug discovery Organizations. Some of the services
that we routine offer are as follows:
1) Application of its proprietary chemo-proteomics technology for Drug Target
Identification, Validation and MOA Studies
2) Advanced protein biochemistry and proteomics services:
x Proteins and peptide quantification in biological matrices using mass-spectrometry based SRM/MRM methods;
x Protein and peptide characterization (comparability studies) using LC-MS, LC-MS/MS, LC-UV/Vis, LC-FTIR, fluorescence
spectroscopy (steady-state and time resolved).
3) 'Fit for purpose' biochemical assay development allowing seamless integration of the novel assays in the product development cycle.
TECHNOLOGY
Shantani is developing a proprietary advanced chemical proteomics technology to identify the cellular protein targets of small-
molecule drugs. Following features together differentiate our technology from other existing chemical-proteomic technologies in the
world:
1) Target proteins are identified for unmodified small-molecules;
2) Target proteins are captured from intact, physiologically relevant biological systems;
3) Capture of target protein is not limited to 'kinase' or any one class of proteins;
4) Method allows the possibilities of quantifying small-molecule target interactions directly in cell-based systems.
