1. Ray-ing Ritual
VGW, p 181, 2nd paragraph:
While sitting in a quiet place, with incense of the Indian or Hindu type burning in the
background, you will focus your mind on helping those in need and call upon the powers of
the Gods to come down and pass through you to those who are in need, in this case, you are
serving as the point of observation for the energies, which will be sent out by the process of
ray-ing to those around you or known to you. All objects can be subjects for your work,
there should never be any exceptions. Here is the prayer statement, which you can make:
'I am seeking to be useful to you, great Legbha. Use me as a focus and as a sender of your
healing and helping energy to those who need it. Let me serve you in this ray-ing out of your
gracious and holy power. I relax myself and open myself to being used by you in this work.
Send the energies through me to those who come to my mind. I am the way that energy can
come to them. I see them with my mind's eye and repeat their names or who and what they
are as the energies flow through me. Let me be a source of ray-ing to them at this time and
whenever I want to work for them. Thank you, my Legbha.'
After this has been gone over, either said or read over in the mind, relax for a few moments
and if you feel the touch of sleep, drift off briefly, so that the energies can flow through you
as you are relaxed and without any ego-interruptions. This is a very simple way of making
use of the power you have for ray-ing the divine energies.
