1. My Trip, My Love, My Adventure
Most of people think if they hike and climb a mountain it make them look so cool and gentle. But my
personal reason to do that activity is to make us more responsible and care with our surrounding
especially live environment.
Maybe for some people, view of little mountain not too good but I’m not agree with that. For example, I
knew one of it. Height of this mountain is less than 3000mdpl, it’s only about 2565mdpl. This mountain
knew has a good and nice view for the sunrise. The name of this mountain is Mt. Prau. Have you ever
heard this name?
Alright, maybe some of you knew it. So, for you who don’t know about this place I would like to share a
story based on my true experience.
Prau mount located in Wonosobo, Central Java nearby Dieng High Plain. It has a nice view. At first, I’m
not sure about it. But Riski, my friend’s shown me his photograph when he visit that mount. It really has
good view, what an amazing picture. I wish I could visit that place.
And finally God answer my hope. I’ve got the chance to visit Mt. Prau. I was invited by my old friend. So I
prepared everything and I ask my friend to join me. On the next day I look for schedule and ticket. I think
it was my lucky day. I’ve got cheap ticket and it really save my cost. After ticketing done, I went to other
place to buy the equipment and logistic. Lucky for me, I found everything that I need with cheap price. It
made me so happy. I wish nothing bad happen till the departure day.
Finally, the day has come. After I back from my work, I depart to Pasar Senen Station with my friend. We
go to station by a commuter line. After we arrive in the station, unfortunately our train got some
problem and the schedule delayed for a moment. One hour later, the train came. It made me so happy.
Finally I could visit Mt. Prau.
When I’m inside of the train, I feel so sleepy but I can’t sleep because I feel nerved with this trip. To
make myself fell more comfortable, remember my previous trip so it’s make me more relax. So I take a
rest for some hours.
After a few of hours, we arrive in Purwokerto Station. It was our destination. After that I and Giri, the
one who accompany me, look for some food in the city. Again, I’m shocked with the price of food. I
never find food cheaper than this. I feel if I the luckiest guy in this moment. After we take some rest, we
continue our trip. We change the transportation, from train into bus.
After we arrive in the Dieng, we headed to registry post. In the post, we registry and decide time to start
hike the mount. Before we leaving, we pray to God so He will always give us strength and safety to finish
this journey. After find a shelter, we prepare fire and tent so we can take a break to regain our strength.
Finally we reach the summit of Mt. Prau. Thank God I could see the sunrise on it summit. I take good
photo as much as I can. I’m satisfied with this trip. My efforts been paid. After that I’m track down from
summit with happily.
