He went to see the doctor many times as his back and stomach hurt and his legs grew weak. On the day of surgery, tubes were placed in his hands to help him sleep through it. After waking up, he played on his computer in the hospital where he stayed for eight days, having visitors and playing with legos. Luke had physical therapy both at the hospital and home, and is now happy to have been courageous enough to have the surgery as he feels better, strong, happy, blessed, and great.
