password crackers and using firewalls to prevent common attacks.
– Course experience implementing data structures and algorithms in C++, including an A*
algorithm and a Bayesian spam filter.
– Some experience developing software in C#, Racket, Perl, Haskell, and Java for a
programming languages course.
– Developed web applications using HTML, CSS, Python, and Javascript for a course.

− Security Intern with Kinex Telecom, Inc. in Farmville, VA.
− Found evidence of shellshock worm on three machines.
− Neutralized NTP amplification of a DDoS attack against NFOservers.com from one of their
machines.
− Found and fixed many servers that had malicious and obfuscated PHP code injected into
their directories.
− Discovered and unobfuscated a file containing over 400 lines of very sophisticated spaming
routines written in PHP.
