New musical sensation, CalebKnowles speaks in an
exclusive interview with our representatives from Mainstream
magazine revealing the past and the upcoming future.
Caleb Knowles' has just come onto the
scene with the debut of his new single
'Wednesday' this year. The 17 year old
singer has done incredibly well gaining a
number one in the charts, We can also
expect an album from him soon. We had
the opportunity to catch up with Caleb
before he rises to stardom with his mu-
sic, When the singer posted a clip of him
singing to Sam Smith song 'Stay with
me' on youtube. "I had no idea that the
cover would blow up so quickly, i was lit-
erally skateboarding all day, then came
home and noticed that the video over
15,ooo likes and 500,000 views after a
week" Caleb says. "It all escalated pretty
qui ckly after that".
After a few months , it all changed
for the british teenage skater: He was
signed to Island Records and dropped
his self-titled EP. He says that his team
are the ones who keep him grounded.
"i see a lot of people changing because
everything is done for you and every-
one is driving you around, But i don't
think that is going to change me. l've
realised that its all the career and not
me as person. It's tough business but I
think i'm ready for it.
Before all of this Caleb was just a nor-
mal teenage boy who did not have
all the camera and the entire world
watching his every step, But now it has
all increased for him not only have the
paparazzi been keeping him in the public
eye but also his family.
"Out the streets its not just me that
gets alot of attention now, its my par-
ents and my brother, We are walking in
the street and everyone asks them for
pictures and autographs. Its great that
i have the opportuinity to share my
fame with the people that mean the
most to me, in the world."
He's always had an interest in movies
and movie production growing up. "Well,
growing up i always wanted to work
on a movie, or even writing my own
film, it seems like something i would still
want to do now even though my prof-
fession is completely on the opposite
side to that." Hopefully, in the near fu-
ture, Caleb is going to be able to do this.
Whether its after the tour or even
during.
Caleb has big plan coming for everyone
he says and he can't wait to reveal any
surprises that are up his sleeve. So keep
