and describe their function

pistol

5. Pistol Cleaning Materials
● Cloth patches
● Cleaning rod and attatchments

6. Safety Guidelines
● Ammunition must not be present
● Gun must be unloaded
● Action must be open

7. Disassembling Your Glock
● Remove the magazine
● Pull the trigger to release striker spring
tension
● Remove the slide
● Remove the recoil spring from the slide
● Remove the barrel from the slide

9. Assembling Your Glock
● Replace the barrel in the slide.
● Replace the recoil spring in the slide.
● Replace the slide, barrel and recoil spring
onto the frame.

10. Hygiene Guidelines
● Do not eat, drink, or place your hands near
your face while on the range or cleaning
your pistol.
● Wash your hands after handling or firing
your pistol.
● Change and wash clothing after handling or
firing your pistol.

11. Storing Your Pistol
● Inaccessible to unauthorized individuals
● Unloaded unless in use
● Accessible if used for protection
