A PHRASAL VERB IS A VERB FORMED BY THE COMBINATION BETWEEN
A VERB AND A GRAMMAR PARTICLE, IN OTHER WORDS, AN ADVERB
OR PREPOSITION, EVEN A VERB FOLLOWED BY AN ADVERB AND A
PREPOSITION.
3. EXAMPLES:

Be careful/ to be aware, stay aware
Look out!There’s a car coming
Get on
Put on/ get along with someone

Get by
Keep going on

4. Look forward (to)
To be aware/ excired for something that es going to happend
Are you looking forward to your holiday?
Drop/call in
Visit/ to meet with someone with out having planned it
I dropped in to see Chris on my way home.
Plug in
Connect something to something else
The fridge isn’t working because you haven’t plugged it in.
5. Cut something out
Take something out off a newspaper or a magazine, specially pictures or images
There was a beautiful picture in the magazine, so I cut it out.
