Objective
Type of information that MIS gather.
•Information technology management concerns the operation
and organization of information technology resources
independent of their purpose.

•produce fixed, regularly scheduled reports based on data
extracted and summarized from the data base
underlying transaction processing systems

• to middle and operational level managers to identify and
inform structured and semi-structured decision problems.

•Decision support systems (DSS) are computer program
applications used by middle management to compile
information from a wide range of sources to support problem
solving and decision making.
•Executive information systems (EIS) is a reporting
tool that provides quick access to summarized
reports coming from all section of organization
such as accounting, human resources/membership
and operations.
•MIS designed specifically for managing
the marketing aspects of the organization.
•Office automation systems (OAS) support
communication and productivity in the enterprise by
automating work flow and eliminating bottlenecks.
OAS may be implemented at any and all levels of
management.
•School management information systems (MIS)
cover school administration,and often including
teaching and learning materials
                              .
Duties/responsibilities
• are able to highlight their strengths and weaknesses of the
organization thru the database record analysis ) etc. The
identification of these aspects can help the organization to
improve the data base on its daily basis operations.

•Giving an overall picture of the organizational membership
and act as a communication and planning tool.

•Ensure the availability of the data and feedback that help the
organization to align organizational process according to
the needs of the members

•. Impose effective management of organization database that
can help the organization to perform direct marketing and
promotion activities.
Action Plan
"The actions that are taken to create an information
system that solves an organizational problem are
called system development"
.These include system analysis, system
design, programming/implementation, testing,
conversion, production and finally maintenance.

These actions usually take place in that specified order
but some may need to repeat or be accomplished
concurrently.

Conversion is the process of changing or converting the
old system into the new. This can be done in four ways:
•highlight the strengths and weaknesses ( i.e. membership
performance record )etc. The identification of these aspects
can help the organization to improve its data base record,
processes,flow of communication and operations.

•Giving an overall picture of the data gather and help to
improve the services and acting as a communication and
planning tool.

•availability of the information from database and feedback
can help the organization to align communication process
according to the needs of the members or section
accordingly. , effective management of members data can
help the management level to decide for the particular aspect
perform direct marketing and promotion activities.
•Information is considered to be an important asset for any group or
organization in the modern competitive world.

•The behaviours pattern can be predicted by the analysis of
membership and feedback reports from each operating region of
the organization.

•Direct cutover – The new system replaces the old at an appointed
time.

•Pilot study – Introducing the new system to a small portion of the
operation to see how it fares. If good then the new system expands
to the rest of the organization.

•Phased approach – New system is introduced in stages.

OBJECTIVE AS A MARTIAL ART ARTS INSTRUCTOR

Objectives
“The first rule of teaching is to have to be passionate about teaching”.

The objectives of the Martial Arts Association Code of Practice are: -

1.1 To provide a high value service which will enhance Student confidence and
improve the long-term viability of the signatory martial arts school and
instructors.
1.2 To set a standard of martial art practice that protects the student/instructor.
1.3 To set a standard of service that protects the health and well-being of the
student.
1.4 To establish a minimum accepted standard for the qualification of martial arts
instructors
1.5 To establish procedures for worldwide procedures of grading system.
Who will be the student?

Karate students can be as young as pre-school
age, Kids? Adults? Elderly? Women - meaning
instructors must be familiar with beginning
techniques for a young age group. In addition to
 beginners, karate instructors may teach
 intermediate and advanced classes, which
require a mastery of advanced karate
techniques. Because these levels can feature
 sparring or competitive elements, instructors
must be familiar with injury prevention
techniques and correct any potentially harmful
 body positions or sparring matches.
Duties /Responsibilities?

ADMINISTER BELT TESTS
Earning belts can signal to karate participants the degree of advancement a
student has achieved. Yellow belts typically are beginning belts while black belts
mean a student has mastered skills of an advanced karate practitioner.
Requirements for each belt level differ, and it is the karate instructor's job to
prepare students for belt tests and define what will be on the test. Karate
instructors also may sit on panels that award belts to deserving students.

PLAN AND SUPERVISE SCHEDULES, PRACTICES
Some administrative duties are associated with being a karate instructor. These
include setting the dates and times for karate classes. If the school where the
instructor works offers a karate team, practices must be scheduled for this as well.
Other duties can include handling complaints, recruiting new members for the
karate school and even ensuring students learn in a timely manner.
MAINTAIN/SET UP EQUIPMENT
A karate school must be kept in pristine condition for health and safety reasons.
Because karate can be a high-intensity sport, cleaning mats and equipment is
necessary for preventing viruses and bacteria from spreading. Equipment must
be maintained to help participants practice karate in the safest manner possible.
Karate instructors may need to keep inventory of their facilities and re-order new
equipment whenever necessary.
ACTION PLAN?
Never Stop Learning, Always be a Student

keep learning - the value of obtaining more knowledge; by reading, by training with
others, the short term it may cost you time and money but in the long run you will
gain much more than your cost.

, "Remember, most of the time we are students, we are always learning, part of the
time we are teachers. If you want to be an effective martial arts instructor – Never
stop learning.
