3. FINANCIAL PLANNING
Financial planning is the process of meeting your
life goals through the proper management of your
finances.
The process involves gathering relevant financial
information, setting life goals, examining your
current financial status and coming up with a
strategy or plan on how you can meet your current
situation and future plans.
In the end,financial planning should provide
direction and meaning to all your financial
decisions.
4. COMPANY PROFILE
Aviva is UK’s largest and the world’s fifth largest
insurance Group. It is one of the leading
providers of life and pension products to Europe
and has businesses elsewhere.
In India; Aviva has a joint venture with Dabur,
one of India's oldest, and largest Group of
companies.
Currently, Aviva has Bancassurance tie-ups with
• ABN Amro Bank,
• American Express Bank,
• Canara Bank,
• Centurion bank of Punjab
5. INDUSTRY PROFILE
Life Insurance was there in India since 1818
carried by private and foreign insurers. In
1956,LIC act was passed under which life
insurance was nationalized and LIC were set up
by taking over the business of about 245 large
and medium companies doing business of life
insurance.
LIC has regional and zonal offices. In all districts,
rural and semi urban areas are covered by the
LIC offices. LIC has a monopoly of life business.
6. OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
To know the future requirements of an
individual including investments.
To gather data from the client relating with
his financial planning for future.
To check their financial status by analysing
the data collected.
To give various recommendations to the
individual for investing the money in a right
direction and in a right way.
7. LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY
1.The people are not interested in giving the
information about their finances.
2. Sample size of the study was also small which
can affect the accuracy of the study.
3.There was also a shortage of time.
4. Most of the persons have not taken any life
insurance policy so it is would be difficult to
determine the accurate financial health
check.
8. DATA ANALYSIS AND INTERPTATION
Financial planning provides information on
retirement and long term care planning.
Individual financial planning for retirement is
a growing concern among baby boomers.
Expectations of the employer and the
government regarding retirement are rapidly
changing. Increased job mobility and
concerns about the future of the social
security system have highlighted the role of
personal responsibility in planing for future
needs.
9. FINANCIAL PLANNING PROCESS
Establish the investor
Gather investor data and determine goals
and expectation
Clarify present financial status and identify
any problem areas and opportunities
Develop and present the financial plan
Implement the financial plan
Monitor the financial plan
10. FINDINGS AND SUGGESTION
FINDINGS
In General, most of the investors concoct investment
in the Mutual Fund and would provoke to invest in
stocks also.
Most of the Investors sort out investment forWealth
Maximization, where as other reasons like child
marriage/ education, tax planning Retirement
Planning may perhaps the reasons of investment but
investor generally see to the investments for wealth
Accumulation.
Investors are much concerned about the returns.
In current scenario most of the investors bring
investments into play for a period of more than one
year or on the contrary of 3 year.
11. RECOMMENDATION
Invest Early and Regularly.
It is never too late to invest.
Financial planning is little different than
Investment Planning. Do concentrate on
financial planning in a systematic way to reap
the benefits from the investments
Invest in Mutual funds to get risk diversified
profits.
Always capture Long-Term Investments.
12. CONCLUSION
Everyone has its own dreams and effective financial
planning is required to fulfill these dreams and the path
way is do the effective asset allocation and fund
selection. Mutual fund emerges as the most preferable
investment avenues in India as it diversified the risk and
provides the professional fund management. Mutual
fund industry is growing at a tremendous rate to beat the
competition .The mutual fund industry is expected to
grow at a rate of 13.4% over the next 10 years. The Future
of Mutual Funds in India suggests that the industry has
got huge scopes of development in the times to come.
