    Bright Yellow Flowers
 Plants and Posts Dilemma   *
Plants and Posts
• Fred and his wife like to garden.
• So Fred went to the Garden Center to buy some
 plants and posts.
• If he tied each plant to a post, three plants will be
 left without a post.

• Fred’s wife did not like this!
• Fred noticed if he tied three
  plants to each post, one of the
  posts only had two plants tied
  to it.
• Fred’s wife was much happier!
• So how many plants and
  posts did Fred buy?
