10. Who needs Chronic Care Facility
A definition of chronic mental illness was prepared in 1976 for the
National Institute for Mental Health by Judy Turner. It says:
“ The chronically mentally ill are persons who by reasons of severe
or persistent mental or emotional illness or disability experience a
diminished level of functioning relative to primary aspects of daily
living such as personal relations, living arrangements, work,
recreations and the like.”
People with such impairments need Chronic
Care Facility..to be A Home away from Home..
