NORTH LAKE MALLLand Use Project Kierra Melvin Raven Reedy Vanessa Providence
Appearance of the Mall The mall is aesthetically pleasing. If a random person was driving by, it would draw them in. It would also attract many new visitors or tourists.
TREES The tree that was measured was 170 feet. It was planted in an area filled with wood chips.
Parking Lot and Drainage The parking lot was about 45% filled with cars. In the parking lot, there is a drain that allows all the water that falls onto the mall to flow in.
Responses From The People The respondents did not feel positively about the mall. Some of the store owners and workers didn’t even seem excited to be working there. One of the workers said, “Before the mall was built, it was a nice suburban area.”
The MAJOR Problem Based on the responses received, noise pollution was the biggest problem that came with the mall being built.
Environmental problems Many motor vehicles drive in and out of the mall area everyday causing air pollution.
Wildlife at Northlake mall The only wildlife visible at the mall were plants, insects, and birds.
                The end!
