2. Behold to this opportunities that we have like visiting PCMW Shipyard at
Cagayan De Oro and also to the places that help us visualizing more what we’re
learning at school. This activity is very interesting because it helps us develop our
personality and learned too by actual experience. More important is that every
student learned to acquire more knowledge through actual exposure. On May 3,
2019 at exactly 1 o’clockin the early morning, the bus arrived at that time and then
our educational plan tour starts.
At 6:00am the bus stops in Ilagan City near on a small restaurant to have our
breakfast time. I’m very much excited because we’re almost there at the Cagayan
De Oro where it is the location of our tour. When we’re in the PCMW in Cagayan
De Oro, the officers formed us and different engineers do orientation to us. I’m in
the 1st platoon where licensed engineer “Parekoy” are assigned. He oriented well
about the shipyard, and oriented the dos and don’ts so that he can assure the safety
of us. We roam the shipyards and ship vessels he visualized to us all the different
hand tools, special tools and power tools and also kind of electronic devices and
mechanical devices inside the ship.
After that roaming we have are lunch break. We falling in line to get our
food for lunch then after lunch it’s for another safe trip again going home. We are
now inside the bus, waiting others to standby inside and waiting a signal if the bus
3. could ready to go or not. When the bus arrived again to bring us back home we
started talking about our exposures in PCMW shipyard. We also laughing, singing
and especially picture taking inside the bus. After an hour of travel, we had
stopoverfirst in the Centro of the Cagayan City to buy “pasalubong” and travel
again. When we are now in the port of Ilagan City, our buses take a barge to cross
the port of Ozamis City. When the barge is near at the Ozamis port, each of us
prepared again for another tour of the bus going home and then finally we now
again in the Dapitan City.
