The film was very powerful, after watching it I was inspired to learn more about
the “whole foods plant base diet”. In furthering my knowledge I spoke with a couple of
vegans who I’ve acquainted my self with and got a better knowledge with how it’s
changed and affected their lives. Everyone I spoke with had positive feedback, which has
led me to think deeply about cutting animal, based products and processed foods out of
my diet completely.
I thought it was very interesting when the doctor’s patients who had diabetes and
heart disease switched to the “whole foods plant base diet” and stayed true to it found
incredible results not only physically by losing weight but tests showed that it reversed
their chronic illnesses.
I would of liked them to go in greater detail with different diet plans and what not
to eat, rather then just elaborate on the negatives of eating animal based products as well
as processed foods. At times it was a bit overwhelming due to statistics and the monotone
narration but I’d recommend that everyone watch it. They should have shown the
negative in having a plant based diet and different routes to take if you wanted to start it.
Overall I really enjoyed the film and it’s inspired me to rethink my diet and
maybe even try it out.
