Drug rehab aims to treat substance abuse disorders through therapeutic and medical methods. While rehab can help many recover from addiction, its effectiveness depends on the individual and type of treatment. Some downsides are the high costs and risk of relapse, but rehab works to address the psychological and physical causes of addiction through counseling, medication, and lifestyle changes.
