Canaan is located within this
Desired by both empires for it’s wealth
Wealth = Natural resources (Gold, Silver, Water, Agriculture)
The more fertile the land, the more crops it will yield, the more money the can get
Now even though the conquering of Canaan took place after the Exodus, to understand the Geopolitcal state of the fertile crescent we need to go back into history to before exodus as far back as 7 generations before Moses even born.
