Description
The Meridian Wiper seal - type 0099 is a heavy duty wiper seal which features a double sealing lip.
The first sealing lip is for wiping debris/moisture from the piston rod. The second lip acts as a
secondary sealing/wiping lip when uses in conjunction with Meridian Composite Seals.
The housing for the energising O Ring ensures that the primary sealing lip is kept in close contact
with the piston rod even when subject to angular misalignment.
The sealing ring is available in either PTFE Bronze compound or a polyurethane elastomer.
Application
The type 0099 wiper seal is intended for heavy duty piston rod sealing in applications such as
steelwork cylinders and heavy duty presses.
The PUR version of 0099 is particularly will suited for environments where heavy contamination of
the piston rod can be expected.
